Thailand Mission Trip 2026 - Jesus is The Way

God is doing amazing work in Thailand, and WE get to partner with Him!

Purpose: This mission trip will have our Grace Baptist Church team working with International Mission Board (IMB) missionaries, including Doug and Cheryl Derbyshire, to put on a Christ-centered, evangelistic English camp for high school and elementary school students in Ban Po and Bang Klah, Thailand.

Dates: The whole trip will be from Thursday, June 11th - Saturday, June 20th, 2026, with working days for the English camp being Monday, June 15th - Friday, June 19th, 2026.

Team Member Qualifications: In order to serve, members must:

  1. Have a valid passport, not expiring within 6 months AFTER the mission trip.
  2. Provide three references for all members completed through the IMB Go Method Portal.
  3. Be able to endure extreme heat and humidity (Check the climate HERE) - do not expect air conditioning most of the day.
  4. Be in generally good physical health - you can be on your feet for multiple hours.

Recommendations: Not mandatory, but highly recommended by missionaries in Thailand:

  1. Hepatitis A and B vaccinations
  2. Up-to-date Tetanus shot
  3. At least 1 rabies vaccine (2 would be great)

Cost: Registration DEPOSIT due January 15th: $200
TOTAL COST: Approximately $2050 ($1750 for Grace Baptist Church members) - includes airfare, food, lodging, transportation, English camp supplies, travel insurance, etc.

Mission Trip Schedule: A detailed schedule will be provided to team members; however, in general, the mission trip will start with a full day of travel followed by a couple days of learning about the Thai people and the ways God has been empowering our missionary family thus far. Then, the team will run the English camp Monday-Friday from morning until mid-afternoon alongside Thai speaking Christians. The second part of each day will involve spending time with each other, local Christians, and much needed rest. Finally, our last day will be a free day before heading back Stateside.
